Hill Ski Rent Tahko is now a full-service snowmobile rental center. You’ll find us at Tahkolaaksontie 5 B (see directions).
We offer a wide selection of snowmobiles: enjoy a thrilling ride on a brand-new sporty snowmobile or soak in the winter scenery with a comfortable 4-stroke touring sled, perfect for solo adventures or with a passenger.
Book your snowmobile in advance to secure your adventure on your preferred date. We provide all the necessary gear – all you need to do is show up. We’ll take care of the rest!

With a 2-hour rental, you’ll have enough time to complete a scenic tour of Tahko, including a relaxing break at the Mäkiaution Gorge or the Nipanen Hut to take in the beautiful views. A 5-hour rental allows you to venture further, perhaps to Rautavaara or the Ylä-Luosta snowmobile café, where you can enjoy the freshest coffee and pastries in Savonia. Our staff will happily share the best route suggestions and tips for scenic rest stops!
